Nordic Walking

Nordic walking is a full-body exercise that’s easy on the joints and suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It’s based on using specially designed walking poles in a way that harnesses the power of the upper body to propel you forward as you walk.

In order to gain the maximum benefits from Nordic Walking it is essential that you learn the correct technique. Join our 4 week course where a qualified instructor will teach you all you need to know about Nordic Walking. Poles will be provided for you to use each week, a hire cost of £5 is included in the course fee.

A 4 week Learn to Nordic Walk course costs £25. The sessions last 1hour and 15 minutes. Book your place by emailing community.services@Hertsmere.gov.uk.
